She was also a lover of animals, often accompanied by her service dog, Zara. She was survived by a large family, including her parents, siblings, eight children, and numerous grandchildren.
Shawn Reisman, who died alongside his wife, was described as an entrepreneur with a passion for the outdoors. He found solace in fishing and boating and was also involved in advocacy for children as a CASA volunteer. Family members noted his close bond with Teresa, highlighting their shared love for travel and their faith. A joint visitation was scheduled for the couple on the evening of December 18, 2025, at a funeral home in Little Rock, followed by a Celebration of Life service the next day in Redfield and burial at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, Arkansas.
