Akemy Fontane Cuza, a woman from Marianao, La Habana, Cuba, was found dead on September 12, 2023, in Miami Gardens, Florida. She was discovered along with her boyfriend, Omar Miranda Quiñónez, in a duplex residence. The bodies were found by Akemy's two adolescent children, Rachel and Arturo, who returned home from school to make the tragic discovery.
