On the evening of December 12, 2025, a violent incident unfolded in the Benson neighborhood of Omaha, Nebraska, claiming the life of 18-year-old male Darren Greer. Officers from the Omaha Police Department were dispatched to the area near North 61st Street and Bedford Avenue around 9:04 p.m. following reports of gunfire.
