On the evening of November 20, 2025, Andrew Boyd, a 45-year-old white male, was shot in a parking lot along the 3400 block of Blazer Parkway near Man o’ War Boulevard and Richmond Road in Lexington, Kentucky. Officers were dispatched around 7:30 p.m. for reports of a shooting and arrived to find him lying in the lot with gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Fayette County Coroner later formally identified him and determined that he died from a gunshot wound, ruling his death a homicide.
In the days that followed, his family spoke publicly about the loss. His 19-year-old daughter, Analissa, described him as her “best friend” and protector, someone who made her feel safe and proud of the path she was on as a college student balancing work and school.
