In the early morning hours of July 2, 2018, the life of 32-year-old Christopher Frank Snow, a Black male, was tragically cut short in Lexington, Kentucky. At approximately 2:59 a.m., police responded to a call about a person down in the roadway at 276 East Fourth Street. Upon their arrival, they discovered Snow suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Christopher, known for his charismatic and loving personality, was a father of two sons.
His death left a profound void in the lives of his family and friends, who remember him as a joy to be around. His mother, Shawnda Snow, and father, Frank Watkins, have been vocal in their quest for answers and justice for their son. They, along with other loved ones and community leaders, have held vigils and distributed flyers annually on what would have been his birthday to keep his memory alive and appeal for information.
Despite the ongoing investigation by the Lexington Police Department and the persistent efforts of his family, Christopher's murder remains unsolved. No arrests have been made, and no suspects have been publicly identified in connection with his shooting. The family continues to plead with the community for anyone with information, no matter how insignificant it may seem, to come forward. A cash reward has been offered for information that could lead to a resolution in the case, as his loved ones continue their painful search for closure.
