In the late summer of 2017, the life of Jerome Wadsworth, a 28-year-old Black man from Michigan, came to a tragic and violent end in Lexington, Kentucky. On September 3rd, Wadsworth was discovered in a ditch near the Eastridge Apartments, suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. He was rushed to Saint Joseph East Hospital but succumbed to his injuries that same morning.
