On November 23, 2025, Brandon Joshua Easley, an 18-year-old Black male, was shot outside a convenience store and gas station on Indianapolis’ east side, near East Michigan Street and North Sherman Drive, just before 2 a.m. According to police, officers were dispatched to the 3800 block of East Michigan Street on a report of a person shot and found Easley suffering from gunshot wounds in the parking lot.
