In the autumn of 2015, a wave of violence gripped Indianapolis, and among its victims was 18-year-old Nigel Willis. On the evening of November 4, 2015, on the Far Eastside of the city, Willis was found critically injured from a gunshot wound in the 3600 block of Dubarry Road around 9:30 PM. He was rushed to Eskenazi Hospital, but tragically, he succumbed to his injuries. Nigel, a student at Marion Academy, was just beginning his adult life.
