In the early morning hours of a Saturday in October, the life of 39-year-old John Dempsey was tragically cut short in Rochester, New York. The male victim was gunned down outside a residence on Bock Street in the city's Beechwood neighborhood, becoming the 28th homicide victim of the year in Rochester. The shooting, which occurred around 3:30 a.m., is believed to have stemmed from a dispute that erupted at a nearby birthday party.
