On November 2, 2021, 15-year-old Ja'Mere Wade was tragically shot and killed in Rochester, NY. The incident occurred on Peckham Street, where Wade had gone with several others to purchase marijuana. As he was walking back to the vehicle, he was shot. His companions immediately drove him to Rochester General Hospital, where he was rushed into surgery.
