In the early morning hours of October 1, 2022, Bryan Harrell Sr., a 43-year-old male, was enjoying a late-night barbecue on the sidewalk near 565 Chili Avenue in Rochester, New York. It was around 3 a.m., and while some people were gathered around a bonfire nearby, Harrell was tending to the grill. Suddenly, the peace of the night was shattered by the sound of multiple gunshots.
