On November 19, 1968, Frank Scialdone, an 18-year-old male of Italian-American descent from Rochester, New York, was found murdered with a bullet wound to the back of his head. At the time of his death, Frank was employed at the General Motors plant in Rochester. According to family members, he had planned to purchase a car and was carrying approximately $400 in cash that day.
