In the late hours of a summer evening in Rochester, New York, the life of 19-year-old Amir Starks was tragically cut short. On August 13, 2020, Starks and his friend, 21-year-old Nazir McFadden, were seated in a car at a gas station on West Main Street. The night took a violent turn at approximately 11:45 p.m. when both men were shot in what became a double homicide.
