In the summer of 2022, a violent altercation outside an after-hours party in Rochester, New York, claimed the life of 27-year-old Jameik Foster Sr. The incident occurred on State Street, just south of Lyell Avenue, in the early morning hours. An argument escalated, resulting in gunfire that left Foster fatally wounded. He was transported to a nearby hospital where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
