In the Walnut Park West neighborhood of St. Louis, a Sunday morning was shattered by violence that left a local man dead. On October 12, 2025, police responded to a call for a shooting in the 6000 block of Lucille Avenue shortly before 10:30 a.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered 34-year-old Anthony Ballard II, a male resident of St. Louis, lying in a gangway. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
