Juan Pablo Cuartas-Paez, 17, a male Colombian-born teen from Greenville County, was shot on the afternoon of Monday, October 13, 2025, during an altercation at his family’s home on Creektop Court in the Mauldin area. Deputies responded just after 3 p.m. to multiple 911 calls and found two victims with gunshot wounds; Cuartas-Paez was taken to Prisma Health Greenville Memorial, where he died a short time later.
