In the spring of 2016, the life of a young man from Greenville, South Carolina, was tragically cut short. Braylin Kadym Lindsay, a 24-year-old Black man known affectionately as 'Big B,' was fatally shot on the night of April 10, 2016. He was rushed to the Greenville Health System but succumbed to his injuries approximately 40 minutes after the shooting.
Braylin, born on October 12, 1991, was a beloved figure in his community, remembered for his warm personality and the happiness he
brought to those around him. At the time of his passing, he was survived by his mother, girlfriend, sisters, and brothers, along with other relatives and friends who mourned the sudden and violent loss.
The Greenville Police Department immediately launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting to identify those responsible for his death. Despite their efforts to gather evidence and seek out witness testimony, no immediate arrests were made in the case.
In the years that have passed, the investigation into Braylin Kadym Lindsay's murder has remained open. Authorities have continued to seek leads that could bring closure to his family and friends. To date, there have been no significant updates regarding any suspects or arrests in connection with his killing. The community has been encouraged to come forward with any information that might finally bring justice for Braylin.
