In the winter of 2021, a burst of violence shattered the evening quiet at a Greenville, South Carolina apartment complex, leaving a young man's life tragically cut short. Michael Darius Allen, a 29-year-old Black male from the nearby community of Simpsonville, was found deceased in the parking lot of the Ashton Woods Apartments on December 18th.
