In the north valley of Phoenix, on a cool Tuesday evening, the life of 17-year-old Marki Terril Anthony, a Black male, was tragically cut short. Just after 9 p.m. on October 14, 2025, the sound of gunfire pierced the night near 12th Street and Bell Road, prompting calls to emergency services. When Phoenix police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered the teenager suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
