In the quiet town of Montevallo, Alabama, a life was tragically cut short on the evening of October 18, 2025. Cedric Jacquese Carter, a 26-year-old male, was found with a fatal gunshot wound to the head on Graham Street. The Montevallo Police Department responded to a call about a shooting at approximately 9:30 p.m. and discovered Carter's body at the scene. He was pronounced dead shortly thereafter, leaving a community in shock and a family to grapple with a sudden and violent loss.
