A sense of shock and sorrow permeated the small city of Montevallo, Alabama, following the tragic death of 19-year-old Tyler Olds, a male resident, on the evening of April 15, 2020. The Montevallo Police Department responded to reports of a shooting in the 700 block of 1st Street South, where they discovered Olds suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency services transported him to a local hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
