In the wake of a chaotic and violent night in East Macon, 21-year-old Brandon Thomas, a Black male, lost his life in a hail of gunfire that also claimed the lives of his 27-year-old brother, Quentarius Townsen, and 16-year-old Markeel Bonner Jr. The triple homicide that cut these three young lives short unfolded on the evening of October 18, 2025, leaving a neighborhood scarred and a community searching for answers.
