On the night of July 6, 2023, 28-year-old Dawud Robert Gillion was found unresponsive in a residence on the 3800 block of Linwood Drive in Macon, Georgia. Deputies from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office responded to a call reporting a person shot around 11 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Gillion, who was pronounced deceased at the scene by Deputy Coroner Richard Robinson.
