In the late morning of June 16, 2025, a tragedy unfolded in Norfolk, Virginia, that would claim the life of a young mother and set off a frantic search for her child. Alexus L. Foreman, a 28-year-old Black female, was found by police officers who were responding to a call around 11:35 a.m. in the 900 block of East Liberty Street in the Berkley community.
