Alexus L. Foreman, 28, a Black female and a mother from Norfolk, was shot late in the morning on June 16, 2025. Officers were called around 11:35 a.m. to the 900 block of East Liberty Street in the Berkley community, where they found the 28-year-old woman with a life-threatening gunshot wound; she was pronounced dead at the scene. The killing immediately set off an AMBER Alert when investigators learned that Alexus L. Foreman's 4-year-old child had been taken from the scene during the chaos. ...Read More
