Desmontae Burns, a 16-year-old male, was shot and killed on the night of August 23, 2025, in Milwaukee. Police were called to the area of North 12th Street and West Concordia Avenue around 9:14–9:15 p.m., where Burns was found fatally wounded; a family member told local media he had been shot inside a home and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
