Death by Force

Frances Hooper-Miller, age 76, a female resident of Covesville, Virginia, was found dead inside her home after police conducted a welfare check at a residence on the 5500 block of Windward Cove Road. Officers with the Albemarle County Police Department discovered her alongside Dennis Miller, age 77, both pronounced deceased at the scene with gunshot wounds. The department described the case as a suspicious death investigation and indicated the incident appeared isolated.
