On a quiet Christmas Eve in 2018, the peaceful neighborhood of Ashbury Lane in Virginia Beach was disturbed by a tragedy that would leave residents in shock and sorrow. Inside a home on that street, 75-year-old No Nguyen was found deceased by police officers who were responding to a shooting incident at approximately 5:35 p.m. Her husband, 77-year-old Hieu Nguyen, was also discovered at the scene with life-threatening injuries.
