Death by Force

Madeline B. Roberts, 73, a woman from the Richmond area, died on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, after police were called just after noon to a townhome in the 3000 block of Waddington Drive. Officers found Madeline B. Roberts, and her husband, Henry H. Roberts, 77, with gunshot wounds; both were pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators later identified the pair and said the working conclusion was that Henry shot Madeline and then himself, adding there was no ongoing threat to the community.
