Sandra Lavern Powell-Wyche, affectionately known as "Sand," was a beloved nurse from Richmond, Virginia. She was born on August 8, 1971, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and later moved to Emporia, Virginia, where she graduated from Greensville County High School. Sandra pursued a career in nursing, becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and working at Westminster Canterbury, a retirement community in Richmond.
