Taquirney Fifer, 25, a woman from Memphis, was fatally shot on the night of July 16, 2025, at the City Place at Germantown Apartments in southeast Shelby County. Deputies arrived to find her on the ground with a gunshot wound, and despite life-saving efforts she was pronounced dead at the scene.
