Ajani Stinton-Downing, 22, a woman from Philadelphia, was found shot inside a second-floor bedroom on the 2100 block of Bailey Terrace in South Philadelphia just after 5 p.m. on May 22, 2025. Officers responded to a report of a person with a gun and discovered Ajani Stinton-Downing with a gunshot wound to her shoulder; medics rushed her to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead at 5:55 p.m. The home lies near Point Breeze Avenue in the Grays Ferry section, and the shooti ...
