On January 20, 2016, 36-year-old Black female Khalilah Adams was fatally shot in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The tragic incident left her two young children without their mother, prompting the family to initiate a fundraising campaign to support them during this difficult time. Community members were encouraged to send condolences to Ms. Cherry Campbell at 4929 Fairmont Ave., Philadelphia.
