Gwen Anderson, a 29-year-old woman from Philadelphia, PA, tragically lost her life on September 26, 2018. She was working as a bartender at Studio 7 Lounge and Restaurant when a man she knew from the bar shot her multiple times in the head and chest. The assailant, a 52-year-old man, had previously been rejected by Gwen and was reportedly upset over her refusal of his advances. After shooting Gwen, the man attempted to take his own life but was found in critical condition by the police.
