Nelson Celda, 23, a male of Hispanic/Latino heritage, was riding his scooter through the Fairhill section of Philadelphia on the evening of June 22, 2025, when violence found him at the intersection of West Tusculum and North Howard streets. Just after 7:30 p.m., police were called to the 100 block of West Tusculum Street and found him unresponsive; medics pronounced him dead at 7:49 p.m. His name and age were released by officials, and city records note he lived on North 3rd Street.
