In the quiet community of Jamesport, New York, a tragedy unfolded that left friends and neighbors in disbelief. On the evening of Wednesday, June 11, 2025, police were dispatched to a home on Lagoon Court to conduct a welfare check. Inside, they made a grim discovery: the bodies of 63-year-old Stephanie Crohan and her 62-year-old husband, Edward. Both had sustained fatal gunshot wounds in what investigators would later determine to be a murder-suicide.
