On a spring evening in Amityville, Long Island, a celebration turned into a scene of unimaginable tragedy. Danielle Baker, a vibrant 14-year-old girl, was attending a friend's sweet 16 party on April 8, 2006. An honors student and the captain of her cheerleading squad, she was dancing and enjoying the night with friends. The festive atmosphere was shattered when a single gunshot echoed through the venue.
