Dwayne Belfield, 41, male, Black, was shot in broad daylight on a quiet residential block in South Jamaica, Queens, on Saturday, July 12, 2025. Police responding to a 911 call found him near the corner of 110th Avenue and Liverpool Street with a gunshot wound to the chest shortly after 8 a.m., and he was rushed to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. He was later identified by police records as living on East 27th Street in Brooklyn.
