Julian Askew, a 29-year-old resident of Queens, NY, tragically lost his life following a violent encounter on August 5, 2022. Askew was confronted by two men outside a deli on Waltham Street near Tuskegee Airmen Way in Jamaica, Queens, around 1:45 a.m. One of the men pulled out a .40 caliber handgun and shot Askew in the chest before fleeing the scene in a gray four-door sedan.
