In the early morning hours of September 2, 2025, the life of 21-year-old Jontay Davis of the Bronx was tragically cut short. Police discovered the young man lying face down behind Saint Barnabas Hospital at approximately 2:02 a.m. with a gunshot wound to his head. It is believed that he was not shot at that location but was instead driven there and left behind.
