Ramel Ingram, 24, a man from Brooklyn and a Black/African American male, was shot on the evening of September 17, 2025, outside the Crooke Avenue apartment building where he’d been staying with his grandmother. Around 8:45 p.m., gunfire struck Ramel Ingram in the chest near St. Paul’s Place and Ocean Avenue, steps from Prospect Park’s southeastern edge. First responders rushed Ramel Ingram to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County, where he was pronounced dead.
