Death by Force

On the evening of June 12, 2025, 22-year-old Lematay Myles, a male from Clarksdale, was found mortally wounded on the 200 block of Elm Street after reports of gunfire drew officers to the scene. Responding units with the Clarksdale Police Department discovered that Lematay Myles, age 22, had suffered multiple gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead where he fell, as neighbors’ porches filled with the echo of sirens and the streetlights painted the sidewalk in a pallid glow.
