In the late hours of a Thursday night in South Clarksdale, the life of 25-year-old Aldrict Hill, Jr. was tragically cut short. On February 22, 2024, police responded to a call on the 2100 block of Center Street at approximately 10:12 p.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered Hill had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene. This marked the fifth homicide in Clarksdale for the year.
