On September 2, 2025, Isaiah Wilson, 15, a male from Kansas City, Missouri, was walking in the area of East 88th Place and James A. Reed Road in south Kansas City when gunfire cracked through the afternoon. During a phone call with a friend, Isaiah said he heard shots and realized he had been hit.
