On November 12, 2017, a violent incident claimed the life of Lamon Edwards Clark-Bey Jr., a 23-year-old Black male resident of Kansas City, Missouri. Born in early 1994, he was known to his friends and family as 'Buddah' and was a father to several children. He had attended Kansas City Charter Schools and was working toward his G.E.D. at the time of his passing.
