Mary Brunette Chagnon, aged 54, disappeared on August 23, 1973, from Duluth, Minnesota. She had left her home to visit friends and attend a Founder's Day Workshop meeting in Minneapolis but never returned. Her vehicle was later found abandoned at 421 1st Avenue North in Minneapolis, raising concerns about her whereabouts. Despite extensive searches, there has been no trace of her since that day.
