In the early evening of January 11, 2026, the life of 28-year-old De’Ontez K. Denson, a Black / African American male, was tragically cut short in Kansas City, Missouri. Responding to a report of a disturbance at an apartment complex in the 6400 block of Manchester Avenue just before 6:30 p.m., police officers discovered Denson inside a unit suffering from gunshot wounds.
