Byron Garrett, 35, a man from Kansas City, Missouri, died on July 20, 2025, after a shooting inside a gas station convenience store in the 2200 block of East Truman Road. He was identified alongside his younger brother, Taylor Garrett, 32, and both men were declared dead at the scene that Sunday afternoon.
