Kevin Ray Ester, age 15, a male from Shreveport, was shot on the evening of May 27, 2025, in the Werner Park neighborhood, in the 3100 block of Parkhurst Street near Prentiss Avenue. He was rushed to Ochsner LSU Health, where he died at 5:40 a.m. the next day after emergency efforts failed.
