On a warm evening in Shreveport, Louisiana, the life of a bright-eyed 4-year-old boy was tragically cut short. Messiah Murphy, a male child, had just been given a bath by his mother on May 10, 2018, when she agreed to give a friend a ride. With Messiah and his brother secured in the vehicle, what should have been a simple errand turned into a nightmare. As they drove in the northern part of the city, their car was suddenly targeted by gunfire.
