On a late summer evening in Shreveport, Louisiana, the life of 29-year-old Black / African American male Michael Rashard Coleman was tragically cut short. On August 26, 2020, just before 9:30 p.m., police responded to reports of a shooting at the Woodlawn Terrace Apartments in the 700 block of West 68th Street. Arriving officers discovered Coleman, who had sustained gunshot wounds. He was quickly transported by the Shreveport Fire Department to Ochsner LSU Health Hospital, where he later succumb ...
